 Six days days of Creation

Today we know that the creation process can be measured in billion years.In this topic we will see how is the universe made. 

Quranic verse:- 50:38

“And verily we created the heavens and the earth and all that between them in six days and naught of weariness touched us.”

According to this verse the God created life and all the other things in six days. Also ancient theories of origin of life supports this verse. According to that theory God created the whole universe in six days:
1st day: - Earth
2nd day: - Sky & Water
3rd day: - Land & Plants
4th day: - Moon, Sun & Stars
5th day: - Fishes & Birds
6th day: - Land animals including first man “Adam” and from his 12th rib first women “Hawwa (Eve)” is formed.

While on the other surface this might seems to be similar as in Bible.But the Biblical explanation of Sabbath {the day when God rested} is refuted by holly Quran. As per Quran Allah almighty never gets tired and hence needs no rest.After completing the creation Allah sedttled himself on a throne{according to his magesty}.

Quranic verse :- 32:5

“A day whereof the measure is a thousand years of yours reckoning.”

In the above verse the word “Day” could mean not just a normal day but also a long period of time indefinite period of time but always long. The Quran also speaks of a day whereof the measure 50000 years. Long before our modern ideas of length of time involved in the creation, commentators of the Quran understood that when Quran speaks of six days of creation, it doesn’t mean days like ours but rather six periods.
